Born to the royal family of Etsu Nuhu, one of the ruling houses of Agaie Fulani Dynasty, on 4th August 1948 at Agaie in Niger State. He was a professional teacher, strategic administrator, renowned banker, agriculturist and traditionalist per excellence of recent times.
Appointed the 13th Emir of Agaie on Wednesday 9th April 2014. He is the Manager personal farm, Nuhu Farms Limited at Agaie and Chairman Board of Directors of Babba Microfinance Bank Agaie.
Appointed Branch Controller, Central Bank of Nigeria, Sokoto in the Year 2003, transferred to Bauchi and moved to Yola Branch in May 2006. Joined Central Bank of Nigeria as Assistant Director in 1994 and rose to the position of Director Branch Offices Operations.
Niger State Government appointed him as Director General Ministry of Works and Housing (1989-1993). He was Honourable Commissioner Ministry of Information, Social Development, Youth, Sport and Culture (1986-1989). He was at Federal Polytechnic Bida as Admin officer and later Deputy Registrar and College of Education Sokoto as Lectural II and HOD History department.
